I just can't believe this story. U.S. Navy ships are still allowed to fly the American flag? My goodness, isn't that apt to insult some other piddling nation and turn more people against the U.S. of A.?

Seems to me we should be willing to give up things like our national identity and sense of patriotism in an effort to get along with all these other enlightened nations, ragheads or not. It also seems to me that displaying an American flag—even in American waters—is a sign of American imperialism and disrespect for a lot of other worthless nations, including much of Europe and practically all of the Mid-East.

The idiots of New Orleans have spoken and have returned Ray "Nowhere" Nagin to the helm of their city. But of course he's black and his opponent was white, so that counts for something. NO idiots feels it's better to have an incompetent black than take a chance on a honky.

Teacher as idiot

In a time when students are being expelled from school and, in some cases, arrested for drawing pictures of people shooting guns at one another, what the hell is up with a teacher like this fool? Why is a drafting teaching giving students "fiction" writing assignments to begin with?

There are lots of things about this situation that stink. I would be willing to bet that the teacher is a leftist radical type and the people he would like to see shot are Republicans. That's the way it works with those fools.

He should be fired without hesitation. But he won't be, because no doubt the administration of his school is under the grip of left-wing idiots just like him.
